The difference between outside and inside

Outside

115°

Shade temperature on a Phoenix afternoon in July. On a shingle roof the surface runs closer to 150.

Inside

72°

Where you actually live. Every job we take is somewhere on the distance between these two numbers.

On the job

This is the part you never see.

Flex duct being strapped and sealed in an attic on a new build in the West Valley. Filmed on the job, by us. It is 130 degrees up there in August and it is where most of the answers are.

  • R-8 Minimum duct insulation we install in an Arizona attic
  • 20–30% Typical conditioned air lost through leaking duct runs
Real job, real crew, no sound. Paused automatically on a slow connection or if you have asked for reduced motion.

What we do

Five things, done properly.

Residential and commercial, across the West Valley. Every visit ends with you knowing what we found and what it costs.

  1. 01

    Maintenance

A tune-up before the season turns, so the failure happens on our schedule instead of in August.

Most of the emergency calls we take in July were visible in April. A capacitor reading low, a contactor pitted, a coil packed with dust. None of it is dramatic in spring. All of it is a 115-degree afternoon without air later.

    What that includes

    • Coil clean, condensate line clear and flush
    • Refrigerant pressures and superheat checked against spec
    • Capacitor, contactor and amp draw tested under load
    • Filter change and airflow reading at the return
    • Written findings with photos of anything we flag

  2. 02

    Repair

Diagnosis first, then a price, then your decision. In that order, every time.

A repair call ends one of two ways. Either we fix it, or we tell you honestly that fixing it costs more than it is worth. We will show you the reading that led us there, and you are welcome to get someone else to check our work.

    What that includes

    • Full diagnostic before any part is quoted
    • The failed part shown to you, in place, before it comes out
    • Written price for the repair, approved by you before work starts
    • Common capacitors, contactors and motors carried on the truck

    ResidentialCommercial

  3. 03

    Installation

New systems and changeouts, sized to the house rather than to the old unit.

A system that is too big short-cycles, never pulls humidity, and dies early. Replacing a four-ton unit with a four-ton unit because that is what was on the roof is the most common expensive mistake in Arizona. We measure first.

    What that includes

    • Load calculation on the actual house, not a match to what was there
    • Ductwork inspected and sealed before the new system goes on it
    • Line set, drain and electrical brought to current code
    • Start-up readings recorded and left with you
    • Registration of the manufacturer warranty on your behalf

    ResidentialCommercial

  4. 04

    Residential

Houses across the West Valley. Single-stage, heat pump, package unit, split system.

Most of what we work on is a family home with a package unit on a shingle roof or a condenser on the side yard. We work in the attic in summer, which is the part nobody enjoys and the part where most of the answers are.

    What that includes

    • Rooftop package units and ground-level split systems
    • Attic air handlers and duct runs
    • Thermostat replacement and setup
    • Airflow and room-to-room temperature balancing

    Residential

  5. 05

    Commercial

Rooftop units and light commercial systems, scheduled around your open hours.

Light commercial is mostly a question of access and timing. Tell us when the doors are open and we will work around them. If you are running several units, we will tell you which one is closest to the end of its life so it is a budgeted decision rather than a shut day.

    What that includes

    • Rooftop unit service, repair and changeout
    • Planned maintenance schedules across multiple units
    • Work scheduled before opening or after closing where access allows
    • Written condition report per unit, so you can budget replacements

How we work

What we will never do.

Anyone can write "honest" on a website. This is the version you can hold us to.

  1. We will never use the heat against you.

A 115-degree afternoon is not a sales tool. If your system is running and the decision can wait until you have another quote, we will tell you that.

  2. We will never call a system dead to sell you a new one.

If it can be repaired, we will say so and quote the repair, even when the replacement is the bigger job for us.

  3. Nobody here earns more by selling you more.

No commission on parts, no bonus on system sales. The person diagnosing your unit has nothing to gain from the answer.

  4. We will never start work you have not priced and approved.

You see the number before anything comes apart. No line items appear on the invoice that were not on the quote.

  5. If someone has quoted you a full replacement, call us before you sign.

Tell us what you were quoted and what they said was wrong. We will look at the system ourselves and tell you whether we would do the same thing.

Who we are

20+ years of HVAC experience.
New company, same hands.

DC AC Arizona was founded in 2026. The people running it have been working on Arizona systems for more than twenty years, in other companies' trucks and other companies' shirts. This is the first one with their name on it.

That is the whole reason the page reads the way it does. A new company has nothing to trade on except how it behaves, so we have written down how we behave and put it above the services.

It is family owned and it stays small on purpose. The person who quotes your job is the person who does it.

Where we work

A West Valley company.

Not a coverage map. This is where the trucks actually are, so a same-day call is a real thing rather than a promise we quietly break in August.

Just outside this list? Call anyway. If we cannot get to you we will say so on the phone rather than book you in and cancel.

24-hour emergency calls

No cooling right now?

Call it in. Overnight and weekends included. If it is 115 out and the house is climbing, say that when we pick up and we will treat it that way.

Five fields. We will come back to you with a time, not a sales call.

So we can call you back if the form fails.

If anything goes wrong, call 602-805-7349. We would rather hear from you twice than not at all.
